Africa4Climate is a limited company incorporated in Switzerland. A4C has been established with the aim of producing and marketing carbon credits generated in Africa, while contributing to sustainable development and biodiversity conservation through the creation of local employment and the reinvestment of part of the profits for local actions. A4C manufactures and markets improved stoves distributed in the territory of Togo.

A4C has commissioned DEV4U to design the company’s Public Website and a Reserved Area for authorized operators. The Public Website consists of institutional pages that illustrate the project of production and distribution of “improved stoves” (The Context, Our Solution, Certifications, Photo Gallery, About Us, News Archive). In the Reserved Area, artisans who make the stoves, vendors, sold stoves, user clients, and a section with support tickets, operator monitoring, and secretariat monitoring are registered.

This case study on the PUBLIC WEBSITE and the RESTRICTED AREA is linked to another case study on the Africa4Climate mobile APP. The APP and the BACKEND communicate with each other, exchanging data on stoves sold, support requests, stove geolocation, resellers, and more.
