AFRICA 4 CLIMATE – APP

Africa4Climate manufactures and markets improved stoves distributed in the territory of Togo. A4C has been established with the aim of producing and marketing carbon credits generated in Africa, while contributing to sustainable development and biodiversity conservation through the creation of local employment and the reinvestment of part of the profits for local actions.

A4C has commissioned DEV4U to design the company’s Public Website, a Reserved Area for authorized operators, and an APP (only Android).

The APP has been designed in 3 versions: one for the end customer purchasing the improved stove, one for the stove retailer, and one for monitoring purposes.

This case study on the mobile APP is linked to another case study focused on the website and backend of Africa4Climate. The APP and the backend communicate with each other, exchanging data on stoves sold, support requests, stove geolocation, resellers, and more.
