The CNGP (Comité National de Gestion des Pesticides) has the mission to coordinate activities for the development and implementation of policies and regulations related to the rational management and control of pesticides and biopesticides.

The CNGP reviews and approves pesticide approval requests before referral to the West Africa Pesticide Approval Committee (COAHP). The Web Platform assists and supports the CNGP during the Pesticide Approval process.

The CNGP web module, now in its second version, is part of the Integrated Pesticide Management System in West Africa (SIGEPAO). It serves as a key tool for implementing the regional harmonisation of regulations governing the registration and management of pesticides across the Sahel and West Africa.
